Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay was born into the Mormon Church's founding family, applied her brilliant literary skills and impressive research skills in order to create the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book, No Man is a Master of My History was published in 1945. The title was an inspiration for a funeral sermon given in 1844 by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder, Joseph Smith. In that sermon he declared: "You do not know the person I am, and have never seen my heart." My past is not known to anyone. It's impossible for me to reveal it. Fawn 29, who was 29 was a writer. Fawn took over the role of writer since the day he began. Some have deified and abused him, while others have attempted to diagnose the problem. It isn't because there's not enough evidence but they're rather contradictory. Assembling these documents - sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources, fitting Mormons' narratives to non-Mormons' into an authentic history - is challenging.
