Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on April 16 1997 in Miami Florida. She is half English, the other half Spanish. Her parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one in each parent's prior marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated to Victoria within London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. After she turned 16, she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
