Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American model and actress, has retired as an actor. Elson began her acting career in her early years and as a model. She is best known as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science Fiction series. Andrea won the role of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) in the auditions she took. After many years of working on television shows that were a hit and movies, she decided to leave the field to start a family. ALF occurred during a difficult season in the life of Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as a young woman in front viewers of sitcoms was a challenge. Born on March 6, 1969, in New York City, this green-eyed actress was a frequent traveler due to her father's work in the field of advertising. Andrea was already a resident of New York in Chicago San Diego, and Los Angeles before she turned ten. Andrea had her first successful audition in San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco explained the decision by saying "ALF is a veteran of 285 yrs, which means he's older enough to drink alcohol." With the popularity of ALF growing with kids, NBC informed Fusco that the actor could not consume alcohol due to the fact that children were watching. That was an unfavorable example. Fusco thought ALF could drink even while he was an adult. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma, which was successfully treated and then remained in remission till the year 2019. He passed away from the illness on the 26th of June, 2019 aged 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
