
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress and film actor. She lived from January 31, 1937 to January 19th 2008. Pleshette began her career in theatre. She was a part of films towards the end of the 1950s. Later, she was an actor of note in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). Then, she appeared in numerous television shows and was frequently acting as a guest. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, 1972-1978 which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January in 1937. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer, who worked under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
